Vinhomes Global Gate – the high-profile project dominating headlines for the past year – is rapidly becoming Hanoi’s new urban icon. Ideally located at the foot of Tu Lien Bridge, just a 5-minute drive from West Lake, it offers a perfect blend of modern living and convenience, with 32 hectares of water features, Central Park, international schools, and a vibrant commercial strip.

The development’s highlight is the Grand Expo National Exhibition Center, designed in the shape of a turtle, which hosts international-scale events attracting millions of visitors. The A80 celebration, marking the country’s 80th National Day, drew over 10 million attendees in just 19 days, alongside thousands of TV viewers and hundreds of thousands participating in concerts, art shows, seminars, and immersive VR/AR experiences.

Vinhomes Global Gate (Vinhomes Co Loa) has a total investment of VND 35,000 billion and covers 385 hectares, nearly the size of West Lake (500 ha). In the context of increasingly scarce land near the city center, it stands out as one of the few projects located along Ring Road 2 in Dong Anh, Hanoi.
The project consists of three sub-areas, with the “Tinh Hoa” (Elite) zone showing the fastest progress. Most low-rise houses have had their scaffolding removed to complete the exterior finishing, and several units in the “Thien Nga” (Swan) sub-zone were handed over as early as July.

The most striking feature is the 30-hectare Kim Quy Exhibition Hall. On August 19, it was inaugurated after less than 10 months of construction. Weighing 24,000 tons, the hall is made entirely of domestically produced steel, mainly supplied by Hoa Phat. Its enormous dome contains over 100,000 steel nodes and high-strength bolts, installed with a tolerance of less than 3 mm.
Recently, the center hosted the exhibition “80 Years of Independence – Freedom – Happiness,” attracting a large number of visitors. On September 1, at the peak of the event, the center welcomed over one million guests.
